MEDIA RELEASE: ANDROLOGY AUSTRALIA BOARD MEMBER AN “INDIGENOUS MEDICAL PIONEER”.

Associate Professor Noel Hayman has been recognised as an “Indigenous medical pioneer” by the Australian Indigenous Doctors’ Association (AIDA), the peak body for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander doctors.

A/Professor Hayman was part of a group of seven people recognised as the first wave of Indigenous medical graduates, at the biennial Leaders in Indigenous Medical Education (LIME) Connection III Conference.

A/ Professor Hayman graduated in 1990 from the University of Queensland, and is currently the Clinical Director of the Inala Indigenous Health Service in Brisbane, and is also an Andrology Australia Board Member.

Andrology Australia would like to congratulate A/Professor Hayman on the well-deserved recognition of his work in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health.
